This Cookie Policy explains how Alkeme Design SRL uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (alkemedesign.eu), and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. We use cookies in line with the GDPR and Romanian Law nr. 506/2004 (which transposes the EU ePrivacy Directive).

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. We also use similar technologies such as local storage.

2. The cookies we use

• Strictly necessary: required for the site to work and be secure (including our hosting/security provider Cloudflare and remembering your cookie choice). These do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics (consent-based): Google Analytics 4 (sets _ga cookies) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies), which help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These load only after you accept cookies and can be declined.

We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Anonymous action counting (no cookies). Only after you accept cookies, and separately from the analytics above, the site counts what visitors do on it (for example a submitted form, how far a page is scrolled) and what kind of source the visit came from (a search engine, an AI assistant, a social network). It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and uses no identifier: the browser sends the action to our own measurement service, which keeps only daily totals per page, for example "12 clicks on the email address today". Your IP address is not stored and the content of forms is never sent.

3. First-party and third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by us directly (first-party). Others are set by the third-party services above (Cloudflare, Google) and are also governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Your consent & how to control cookies

Non-essential (analytics) cookies load only after you give consent through the cookie banner shown on the site. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and you can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

5. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
